april 4th, 2004 in 60.40.

25th Bewag BERLIN HALBMARATHON on april 3rd, 2005 - Germanys biggest and

fastest HALFMARATHON with 17.046 participants from 63 countries and more than

Paul Kirui and Joyce Chepchumba lead Kenyan double success in Bewag BERLIN HALF MARATHON

Paul Kirui and Joyce Chepchumba led a Kenyan wave of victory in the Bewag

BERLIN HALF MARATHON on Sunday as more than 17,000 runners followed them home.

Kirui won the men’s race for the second year in succession in 1:00:40

while Chepchumba continued her preparations for the London marathon on April 18

with a solid victory in 1:09:49, almost two minutes clear of her compatriot

Maragaret Atudonyang.

The Bewag BERLIN HALF MARATHON lined up with top athletes like never before:

The 24th Bewag BERLIN HALF MARATHON that will start next Sunday on the

boulevard Unter den Linden (skaters: 10:20 a.m., runners: 10:40 a.m.) will

include the highest class athletes ever. SCC RUNNING has already received

15,354 registrations from 62 countries for the by far largest and most

important international race over the half marathon distance of 21.0975km. In

addition to the runners and skaters, this includes power walkers and wheelchair

competitors, as well as 597 starters for the Bewag...
