Online registration for the Vattenfall BERLIN HALF MARATHON on 1. April 2012 will open on Tuesday, May 17th at 12 p.m. The participation limit is set at 27,500 runners. Registration is closing on 9. March 2012 unless the participation limit has been reached earlier.
Two Kenyan youngsters stole the show and dominated the 31st edition of the Vattenfall BERLIN HALF MARATHON on Sunday. In warm temperatures of close to 20° Celsius in the shade and a slight wind, the IAAF’s World Junior Cross Country Champion Geoffrey Kipsang won the race in 60:38 minutes. Five Weeks before the events takes place (April 3rd) and more than one week before the registration deadline the Vattenfall BERLIN HALFMARATHON has sold out it´s 25.500 spots for runners and power walkers. Still available are spots for inline skaters (until March 11th).
