Follow the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON - live along the course, via stream or tracking

There are many ways for families, friends and visitors to Berlin to experience the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON and cheer on the participants. Depending on how often you want to see on your friends or the participants in general, you can do this by bike, subway, S-Bahn or on foot.

Please bear in mind that the skaters will be going about twice as fast as the runners. We therefore recommend planning well in advance. The fastest skaters will need around 30 minutes for the half marathon distance, while the fastest runners will finish in around 60 minutes. Also take into account possible construction work on the S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines.

You can find your way along the S-Bahn route between Friedrichstraße and Charlottenburg stations. The U2 subway line between Klosterstraße and Sophie-Charlotte-Platz offers further options for getting to different points. It is best to get a day or 4-trip ticket.

Tours for spectators

I want to see it all!

At Ernst-Reuter-Platz you can watch the top skaters and then take the U2 to Wittenbergplatz. If you hurry, you can still cheer on the fastest skaters here.

Wait until the wheelchair competitors and the fastest runners pass by or walk along the route towards Zoologischer Garten.

Then take the U2 to Potsdamer Platz. There you can see the large field of runners and then walk to the Finish Line at the Brandenburg Gate.

Those who can, can - maybe even twice!

Start at Sophie-Charlotte-Platz and take the U2 to Klosterstraße immediately after the top runners passing. With a bit of luck, you will see the fastest runners here again and can then walk along the route towards the Berliner Schloss.

Relaxed, varied, full of atmosphere.

Watch the field of participants (first skaters, then wheelchair and hanbike athletes and runners) at S-Bahn station Tiergarten or Amtsgerichtsplatz (S-Bahn station Charlottenburg ) and then take the S-Bahn to Friedrichstraße. From there, you can walk to the Brandenburg Gate or Französische Straße in ten minutes.

Here is always something to see!

The area between Friedrichstraße, Leipziger Straße and Gendarmenmarkt offers a good opportunity to see the participants several times.

Please note, however, that you may only cross the route under the guidance of the route posts.
