Bambini run at the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON
The Bambini Run is an exciting event for young athletes and part of the Bambini Run series presented by ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg. Here, children up to the age of 10 can let off steam in an unforgettable setting under the motto “Children move voluntarily”.
As part of the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON, Messe Berlin will become a special course on which the kids can really put their foot down. Every finisher will not only receive a medal and a certificate, but also other rewards.
With the Bambini collector's booklet, children can also collect a stamp for each participation and win exciting prizes - the more stamps, the greater the prizes!

Registration and late registration
Legal guardians can register their children through their personal user account. Here you'll find step-by-step instructions for registration.
Late registration is possible on the day of the event, right next to the race material pick up. Just come by!
Available until the participation limit is reached.
Distances & starting times
The children can look forward to these distances:
- 0 - 2 years: 200 m, start 11:00 am
- 3 - 4 years: 400 m, start 11:00 am
- 5 - 6 years: 400 m, start 12:00 pm
- 7 - 8 years: 800 m, start 12:30 pm
- 9 - 10 years: 800 m, start 1:00 pm

Race material can be picked up at the HALF MARATHON EXPO
- April 02, 2027, 9 am to 8 pm
- April 03, 2027, 9 am until 30 minutes to the individual starting time
General Information
Accompanying the children
- Only one person may accompany the child to the start area, onto the course, and into the finish area. Everyone will cheer enthusiastically from the sidelines.
- The accompanying adult must run alongside the child to prevent overcrowding in the start area.
- You cannot participate with a stroller, baby jogger, or similar equipment.
- We ask that you only accompany children up to age 4 into these areas. This helps foster independence in our little ones.
- Photos and videos of your children may only be taken from outside the course.
Event process
- The children will be sent onto the course in starting waves.
- In the age groups up to 4 years old, where an adult may accompany a child on the course, children running on their own will start first, followed by those with an accompanying adult.
- Please leave the finish area promptly after you’ve received your well-deserved rewards. This will help us avoid congestion at the finish line.
- After crossing the finish line, all children will receive a medal, a certificate, a small surprise, and water.
- Please keep the entrances and exits clear so that all children can get to the starting line without any problems and find their parents at the exit.
- Please follow the instructions of our team and the safety staff.
