Record races at BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2022
Eliud Kipchoge crowned the 48th edition of the BMW BERLIN MARATHON with a world record of 2:01:09 hours. The 37-year-old Kenyan thus improved his own best time, which he had run in Berlin 2018, by exactly half a minute. Eliud Kipchoge was at times even on course for a dream time of under 2:00:00 hours, but was unable to maintain this fabulous pace.

Eighths victory and spectacular course record for Bart Swings at the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inlineskating
After only 56:45 minutes the Belgian Bart Swings crossed the finish line and set a new course record. At the same time, the Powerslide athlete secured his eighth victory at the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inlineskating. The winner of the women's race was Marie Depuy. The Frenchwoman - also Team Powerslide - needed 1:11:19 hours. A total of 4,153 registered skaters provided a great demonstration of inline sports on the streets of the capital.
