The limit for the runners contingent for the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON 2024 has been reached. Starting places are still available from our charity partners and our cooperating tour operators. You can also find courses in the SCC EVENTS training programmes for which a starting place is offered as an option. Registration for the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON is still open for handbiker, wheelchair athlethes and Inline skater.

Skating instead of running!

You don't have a race entry for the run? Then celebrate your season opener at the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON Inlineskating. On April 7th, 2024, you will start immediately before the runners. On the same course, only much faster, you will roll through the capital to the finish line behind the Brandenburg Gate.

Registration for skater is possible until March 14th, 2024.

Heritage Plaque from World Athletics to Berlin and the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON

In addition to Mayor Kai Wegner, Horst Milde and Uta Pippig as well as numerous runners took part in the ceremonial handover of the World Athletics Heritage Plaque on November 1, 2023. World Athletics is the umbrella organization for all national athletics federations.

SCC EVENTS joins the SuperHalfs series from 2024 with the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON, one of the most iconic and beloved half marathons in the world. This groundbreaking development will expand the SuperHalfs series to six prestigious races, offering runners an extended time frame and a unique opportunity to achieve SuperMedal glory.

BMW BERLIN MARATHON - a race full of records

A day for the history books. Tigst Assefa ran across the finishing line at the Brandenburg Gate after sensational 2:11:53 hours, setting a fantastic new world record at the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. Eliud Kipchoge became the record winner of the race. The Kenyan triumphed for the fifth time in Berlin, winning with a world-class time of 2:02:42 hours. Amanal Petros breaks German record.
